DISTRACTIONS OF THE REAL WORLD...IN OTHER WORDS...WHAT ELSE HAS BEEN GOING ON...

What can I say I've been so busy that this snuck by me.  Between the extra hours hubby has been working and the "I know you are sick and I'm here to help keep you caught up" fairies debacle, my life has been on spin cycle for the last week. 

In the meantime, we ran into one of Little Darling #2's daycare buddies at the mall.  The two of them had a blast playing in the play area.  I have discovered Little Darling #2 is not a climber.  I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.  The good is that I do not have to nail all the dressers to the walls.  The bad thing is she has no upper body strength.  I'll let you decide.

Thursday was our annual pen pal picnic.  Our business is a partner in education for one of the local elementary schools.  We write letters to 3rd graders all year long and meet them before school ends.  This year due to weather we had to meet in the tornado shelter.  Nothing like 4 3rd grade classes with the same number of adults in a small confined area.  Somewhere there is a video of my "not so firm" body in a potato sack racing my pen pal.  Should you see that video on the Internet, please feel free to delete that sucker.
