We missed the library this week. I'll have to squeeze in little darling #2's weekly visit this Wednesday. Openly, I act like this is normal. However, secretly I love that I have a reader. Hee! Hee!
Mother's Day Morning we visited the cemetary as hubby lost his mother in March. Little darling #2 had fun with mommy chasing her in church clothes through the headstones. Not Funny. She also wanted to know why we were leaving the flowers and started crying for them when we left.
Mother's Day Evening we visited my mother. Why is it the family visits for me mean overeating? It's not like that was encouraged when I was a child. Hell, I remember being openly critized for my weight at home. I think it is ironic that all four of us girls have weight issues. What could that possibly mean?????
Regardless of my snarky comments, it was a good visit. Little darling #2 and I picked strawberries again. We needed a break from the family. One day I need to try and explain sister #2's marriage as I don't get it. Seriously, her life could be a blog all by itself. Sister #3 left her hubby at home (Thank Gawd) and Sister #4 is not married (oh she has issues too). I love them to death, but can only take them in small doses.
Happy Mother's Day to all! I hope you got what you wanted. We know that was peace and quiet without having to lift a finger. But we all know that was not the case. Here's to hoping your day was great no matter what.
