DISTRACTIONS OF THE REAL WORLD...IN OTHER WORDS...WHAT ELSE HAS BEEN GOING ON...

Wow.  I knew life had been busy, but I didn't realize I had not posted since the end of May.  Jeepers!  Let's see.  Between work, home and picking up the slack of having a spouse who has been working lots of overtime, it's just a matter of life happening.

We purchased a wooden swing/fort thing for the backyard.  It took us 3 days (not full days, just a couple of hours a day) to put it together.  Little Darling #2 loves it.  The girl can't get enough of it.  Of course, we finished it just in time for the 90+ degree weather.  Puts a damper on playing outside as momma is highly allergic to heat. 

Little Darling #2 and I spent an hour at Michael's doing the make-n-take craft.  Put a pair of scissors in that girl's hand and you can pretty much spent the rest of your day picking up scraps of paper.  Building the book as fun. 

I'm sure I've missed many adventures.  Stick with me.  It should be interesting.
